Welcome

Welcome to the consultation website for Derwent London’s plans for 162 City Road, the Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH) and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO).

Derwent London is bringing forward plans to redevelop the site at 162 City Road in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and UCL. Our vision for the site is for a high-quality mixed-use net zero carbon campus that brings together purpose-built office space along with a range of complementary and publicly accessible uses.

Over the past 18 months, we have been progressing detailed plans for the site. Thank you to everyone who has given their feedback so far; it is helping us shape our plans ahead of our planning application submission later this year.

We will be launching our third round of public consultation in September 2023, which will share the detailed plans for the site. Details of the events will be shared with you in due course.
