Welcome

Welcome to the consultation website for Derwent London’s plans for 162 City Road, the Moorfields Eye Hospital (MEH) and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO).

Derwent London is bringing forward plans to redevelop the site at 162 City Road in collaboration with Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and UCL. Our vision for the site includes providing new, contemporary employment space and complementary uses within world-class buildings. The redevelopment will comprise new areas of public realm, which will be designed to provide a positive contribution to the local area while preserving historic characteristics of the site.

Last year we presented our early vision for the site. Thank you to everyone who gave your feedback; it will help to shape our proposals as they progress.

We have spent the past months developing our design for 162 City Road and we’re now excited to share our progress at our upcoming public exhibition events, where we would welcome your feedback.
